These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Weight Loss Doctors website and services. By accessing our website, completing an assessment, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Weight Loss Doctors provides online, doctor-led weight management consultations and related support in South Africa. Our service connects you with registered medical professionals who assess your suitability for treatment and, where appropriate, begin treatment. We are not a pharmacy and we do not supply medication directly.
You must be at least 18 years old and resident in South Africa to use our services. By using the service, you confirm that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate, complete, and truthful. Providing false or incomplete information may affect the safety and validity of any medical advice or treatment.
All medical decisions, including whether to begin treatment, rest solely with the registered doctor reviewing your case. A consultation does not guarantee that you will receive treatment. If our doctor determines that treatment is not clinically appropriate for you, no treatment will be started. Our doctors may also recommend that you seek in-person care where necessary.
Our service is not designed for medical emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact your nearest emergency facility or emergency services immediately. Do not use this website to request urgent or emergency care.

Our clinical programme is offered as a monthly programme, priced at R299 per month at the time of publication and as set out on our pricing page. The programme covers your assessment, doctor consultation, treatment where appropriate, lab form, dose plan, follow-up consultations and coach support. The cost of medication and any blood tests is separate and is paid directly to the relevant pharmacy or pathology laboratory. Fees are quoted in South African Rand. You may cancel your programme at any time. We may update our fees from time to time, and the fees applicable are those displayed at the time of your transaction.
Our refund position is set out in our Refund and Returns Policy. In summary, where our doctor reviews your assessment and determines that treatment is not appropriate, you are not charged for treatment. You may cancel your programme at any time, and you are not billed for treatment that has not been provided. Refunds are not provided for clinical services that have already been delivered.
Where treatment is prescribed, you collect it at a pharmacy of your choice. The supply, pricing, storage, and dispensing of medication are the responsibility of the dispensing pharmacy. We are not responsible for pharmacy stock levels, pricing, or supply delays.
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and design, is owned by or licensed to Weight Loss Doctors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without our written permission.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Weight Loss Doctors is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for the provision of professional medical services governed by South African law and the relevant regulatory bodies.
Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of those sites, and a link does not imply endorsement.
Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and handle your personal information under POPIA.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page with the updated date shown above. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
